Submissions and Publication

• abstracts (up to 260 words)  for regular oral presentations. Your presentation slot will be of 15 minutes, including 3 minutes for questions.
• abstracts up to 260 words for poster presentation. Your  A0 paper posters will be fixed on vertical stands next to the coffee break area.

TYPE OF PUBLICATIONS

• After acceptance, extended abstracts (papers and posters contributions)will be uploaded before 01/01/2026, and inlcuded in the e-book of abstracts, made available for participants at the congress and  in the IWA webpages dedicated to the conference. 
• The 6th IWA International Symposium on Water, Wastewater and Environment in Ancient Civilizations-2025-Pompeii is pleased to be collaborating with IWA Publishing journals, AQUA – Water Infrastructure, Ecosystems and Society and Water Science and Technology.
  Curated and invited by Maria C Monteleone, this Themed Collection will bring together high-quality research presented at the conference. For authors interested in submitting to this Themed Collection, please review the Information for Authors then submit to your journal of choice by 15 June 2025.
